Karl R. Rittmann

(1919-2001) ~ Inducted 1990

Karl R. Rittmann of Warwick, RI, whose outstanding artistic talents produced hundreds of famous portraits, features for newspapers, book illustrations, and colorful landscapes on display throughout the state and across the nation. He taught art in the Warwick School System for twenty-one years and served ten more years as Vice Principal of Veterans's Memorial High School. His major contributions to culture and art in Rhode Island is chronicled by his prolific works.
