John R. Rathom
(1868-1923) ~ Inducted 1973John R. Rathom, 1868-1923, was the energetic editor of the Providence Journal who served during World War I. He also served as Boy Scout Commissioner and was credited with giving scouting its' biggest boost during its' formative stages. Rathom Lodge at Yawgoog Scout Reservation was named for him in 1929.
