Dr. Mary C. Mulvey

~ Inducted 1993

Dr. Mary C. Mulvey, a nationally recognized expert in the problems of the elderly and concerns of gerontology who now makes Rhode Island her home, has been a pioneer advocate for older adults and successful in enacting legislation to establish a State Agency on Aging. She served as its' administrator until returning to the Providence School Department, and later became the City's Supervisor on Adult Education, after being named to the Federal Council on Aging. She is President Emeritus of The National Senior Citizens Education And Research Center Inc.
